HWS Fundraising Events

Holiday Faire

The HWS Holiday Faire began in 1985 and is not only our current top school fund-raiser, it is also known as the most festive holiday craft and fun Faire on Maui. With local and international craft vendors, 'ono' (delicious) food and wonderful live entertainment blended with hands-on crafts, a bake sale, farmer’s market, games, puppetry and more, this event is a huge success and lots of fun! The Haleakala Waldorf School Holiday Faire usually takes place on the first Saturday of December, and has become an Upcountry tradition and Maui’s most festive holiday season event.

An elf parade will start in the morning; each child wearing an elf costume will receive a free gift. Festive crafts, silent auction, food, keiki activities, live entertainment and more are in store.  Live entertainment includes live music, hula, and class performances.  Ono food and Bake Shoppe, fresh squeezed lemonade and juices, and healthy options for dining are all on the menu. Besides holiday shopping, parents and children may participate in hands-on craft activities such as wreath-making, beeswax candle dipping, and ornament making.  Many child-oriented activities are planned, including a Petting Zoo, Puppet Show, and Obstacle Course.

This is HWS's only community fundraiser in which 100% of the funds raised go towards our Tuition Assistance Program.

For more information about our vendors, email Vendors@WaldorfMaui.org

Our Silent Auction features many valuable gift, home, and entertainment items from the local community and beyond.  Interest in donating an item to our Silent Auction should be directed to Auction@WaldorfMaui.org.

All parents are required to volunteer at this event.
