Mohala Scholarship &
High School Tuition Support Plan

Haleakalā Waldorf School is proud to introduce the Mohala Scholarship as part of our High School Tuition Support Plan, created to help make Waldorf education more accessible for Maui families.

Beginning Fall 2026, we are opening 10 spaces for incoming 9th grade students to join our vibrant high school community. Additional tuition support for grades 10–12 may also be available.

Tuition Support Opportunities

Our High School Tuition Support Plan combines multiple forms of financial assistance to help families access a meaningful and inspiring education.

Support may include:

  • Mohala Scholarship: up to 50% off tuition
  • Athletic Scholarship: additional support of up to 25% off tuition
  • Need-Based Tuition Assistance: additional financial aid based on family need

When combined, some families may qualify for 75%–90% off tuition costs.

Depending on the level of support awarded, monthly tuition may range from approximately $190–$475 per month.

Why Waldorf High School?

Waldorf high school is often considered the crowning achievement of the Waldorf educational journey — a time when the world truly opens up for students.

Through a rich and deeply meaningful curriculum, students discover not only the world around them, but also themselves: their passions, their capacity for connection, and their ability to think creatively, independently, and critically.

In an increasingly mechanized world, young people need an education that strengthens imagination, resilience, adaptability, and human connection. Waldorf education nurtures these capacities while preparing students to thrive in college, career, and life.
